The family was looking to make some of the things around the house more automatic, and buying in bulk would save us some cash. We really like Amazon's subscription service for things like this. Not much to say about the product. No one in the family has complained that is is too rough or such. Will continue to use...

like newspaper without the ink
The TP is VERY THIN - how can they call this 2-ply? It's thinner than some other 1-ply.
TP is stiff, not a bit of softness, I could use newspaper for free intead of buying this.
This was not at all the bargain I thought this was. No one in my family wants to use this. 47 rolls will be donated to the YMCA.

I have been trying to reduce my carbon footprint for the past two years now, so I've made a few sacrifices. One of them being cashmere-soft, overpriced, and wasteful toilet paper which I felt like I had to run out and buy constantly. I ordered the Seventh Generation 2-Ply Bathroom Tissue about a month ago and I'll admit, I was a little worried after reading the mixed reviews on the product page. It came in a lovely, recyclable cardboard box and the individual rolls were wrapped in (again) recyclable paper. (The recyclable part really pumps me up, I'm a recycling fiend!) After trying it out, I was thrilled. No, it's not like wiping your tush with your favorite plush blanket, but it was perfect for me. The 500 sheet roll takes forever to run out, and the 2 ply is actually very strong, as strong as any other and very much unlike "gas station" economy t.p. I ordered the case of 48 and since I subscribed, I received the discounted price AND free shipping. How's that for Win-Win?! This is a great product and an even greater statement and I hope it encourages others to give it a try.

It all comes out in the end
Toilet paper is toilet paper. Yes, I know all about those commercials about soft and squishy baby bottom lovers. However, I assure you that the only thing you should be worrying about is if the finger brakes through.
Let us look at the bigger picture. How could you pass your trees knowing that you needlessly killed one of their kind? Moreover, for what, a moment of not worrying about where the tissue comes from?
This, 2-Ply Bathroom Tissue is just one of the many great products from Seventh Generation. In addition, it is actually economic besides eco-friendly.
Steven king tried using something else when he was playing cowboy as a kid. It turned out to be poison ivy. You do not want to make the same mistake.

It's toilet paper people and it is environmentally friendly. If you want the soft stuff that is not this. That said, I've used this for almost a year now and so has my family...not one person has said one word (and they aren't shy about voicing their opinion) So this is one small opportunity to make a difference. The price is right! Especially if you use subscribe and save.

They were supposed to come pre-charged?
This new battery technology is supposed to have a longer memory than previous rechargeables, right? Says on the package that they come pre-charged. Stuck 'em in my camera and the indicator showed 1/3 of a charge. We'll see if things get better!

only charges to 50 percent,
I dunno about anyone else but these batteries only charge to 50% for me accordin to my Wii Remote. I bought the 4x AA + 4xAAA & slapped on four more AA's and all the Double A's charge to 50%. No fair.

I started buying rechargeable batteries when I started using so many in the kids toys. These seem to hold a charge longer than most. Seems like they will be a real money saver in the end.

Awesome Batteries
These things are quality. I use them mostly for my Xbox 360 / Wii controllers, and I've found that they last longer than fresh alkaline duracells. Definitely a smart buy, since they only cost a few times more than alkalines.
I recommend getting the "smart" charger for these. There's two of them, the smart and the dumb. The dumb just gives anything you put in it 6 hours of juice, regardless of if its low or not. The smart one lets you put in any combo of batteries (AA or AAA) and it gives each one only what it needs. This extends the life of the batteries significantly.

not bad, but could be better
* received pre-charged, but only at 50% capacity. Note, it is best to keep batteries charged at only 50% if they are going to be used immediately. So, it is understandable the factory only charged these to 50% for initial use (they don't know how long it will sit on the shelves)
After a few rounds of charge and discharge through regular use (in wireless keyboard and mouse), the full charge now shows at 75% or above.
You do need to use it and let it run below 10% power before recharging to get full benefit for recharging. It takes at least 3-5 rounds.
After that, it runs well, but seems to drain much faster than the regular alkaline non-rechargeable ones.
*compared both duracell and energizer, the duracell works better and recharges to a higher percentage (90% on dura** and only about 75% on energ**)
I like this 4 packs at only $9.99. They are good for anything, Wii remotes, flashlights, cd players (most people use iPod now...)
I keep a few charged in a plastic bag and rotate them regularly just in case of emergency.

Unreasonable Cost
Can someone explain why ink costs so much? It is almost cheaper for me to buy a new printer on sale a couple times a year rather than buy new ink. A couple weeks ago there was a small Canon printer on sale for around $30. To buy ink for my printer when you add a black ink cartridge, it costs about $70.
How does the very high cost of this HP product jive with the following from the HP web site: "Passion for customers We put our customers first in everything we do."

Better pricing than anywhere else that I've found
These are genuine HP ink cartridges just like they sell in major retailers but at a better price. As others have noted, mine came in 5 individual packages but it is the same as what's in the standard combo pack (not the photo combo pack with paper, which has smaller ink amounts). It is "fresh" ink- the earliest expiration date on mine was 11 months, with others being 5 months longer. I don't like buying the larger XL cartridges because I don't use the printer enough to justify the risk of the cartridge expiring- I got mad once when I had to replace my black cartridge prematurely when it still had ink left, because the it had "expired" past the preset date. This is where I'm buying ink from now on!
P.S. My HP 3210xi All-in-one has been the best printer I've ever had- it's been super reliable and scans great images.

Way too much packaging for what is inside.
The packaging for HP Ink in irresponsible. HP puts a small amount of ink in plastic cartridges, protects them in way too much plastic packaging and surrounds them with way too much cardboard. When I have a better option for printing color copies and pictures I will move to that form immediately. In fact, just this week I bought a B&W laser printer to minimize my use of this color ink.

NOT NEW cartridges; NOT factory sealed
The ink cartridges I received are clearly remanufactured ink cartridges. The product was NOT in factory sealed packaging, as the product listing states. And it did NOT come in the package that is presented in the picture. Furthermore, the cartridge plastic casing has clearly been glued shut with some kind of glue gun as there is excess glue everywhere. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT from this seller!!!

Cheap ink from great seller

Amazon delivers again
I ran into town and purchased a black cartridge because I wasn't sure if this one would arrive in time for me to complete some work. To my surprise, it arrived the next day...It is HP and it is designed to work with my printer. What more can I say? I am fortunate to say that I love my Hewlett Packard printer and laptop. They serve me well. Amazon had the product at a good price, delivered it in an orderly manner and the product meets my specs.

Excellent quality
I've tried the no-name refills, but have never found them to actually save me money. The initial cost is a bit less than the real HP cartridges, but the four I tried did not last as long as HP. Worse yet, 1 leaked and 1 clogged. In contrast, I've never had a problem with the dozens of HP cartridges used over the years. Perhaps I just got some lemons in the refills, but I'll stick with HP from now on.
Amazon has excellent prices, especially if you sign up for the Subscribe and Save option.

I am scared to use any of the usual cleaning products (Pinesol, Bleach, Comet, etc.). Yesterday, I needed to wipe down my cabinets in the kitchen so I used a little Pine Sol for smell and put on some gloves. But I was reading somewhere that said pregnant women should be careful using household sprays and chemicals as it can penetrate into your skin and cross the placenta causing harm to the baby.

I've made a hanging lamp from a colander. I've also made them from candle sticks, bottles, or just about anything. You drill a hole and run threaded tubing. This is where you want to run the wire trough. They sell it at most home stores. You can also go to craft stores and they sell lamp making kits.
