It tastes good as it is supposed to
It tastes very good for a guy who doesnt cook very often and bored with the same type of food everytime. It has more oil floating which I noticed after cooking. If you are very particular on diet, you may have to avoid it.

Vegetable Biryani, Love it!
I noticed that every Kitchens of India paste has exactly 158 reviews. The same reviews are used for each product so it is not too clear (at times) what someone is writing about. I am guessing I will be 159. This review is for Vegetable Biryani. I love Indian food and often eat out as well as cook it. This is my first try making Vegetable Biryani. I used two boxes. I always alter recipes so I did the following. I sauted onions with some garlic. I used carrots, string beans, peas, and chick peas in addition to the onion. I mixed the paste with a healthy amount of plain non-fat yogart. I marinated everything for an hour. I cooked the spices in water before adding the marinated vegetables so the flavors would be stronger. Next time I will wrap the spices in cheese cloth so I do not have to eat bay leaves, cardomon and allspice pieces. I did not use any butter or lemon curd.
I love spicy food and this dish is very hot, no doubt because I added no basmati rice. I will mix it as I use the sauce. It also is wonderful and very authentic Indian food. I will be buying more.
I am just about ready to go back in the kitchen and cook the paste for chicken curry. That will be my next review. Love it, great product and I cannot wait to try the others.

Easy, cheap, delicious!
I decided to try the seasoning after reading reviews and eating disappointing (and expensive!) Indian food at a restaurant. Go to Trader Joe's and grab some frozen naan, basmati rice, veggies, and chicken breasts, and you'll have dinner (and leftovers for lunch) in 30 minutes for about $12 instead of $50+ from a restaurant. And better than the restaurants around us! (Sad but true.) One package of curry mix made enough sauce for 1.5 lbs of chicken, but YMMV. It's spicy, but not hot spicy--more of a depth of flavor spicy. It was too much for my young children, but they're spice weenies.

I just have tried the fish curry and the vegetable curry so far and they are amazingly good. The chefs that created the recipes must be some kind of mad scientists because their products taste as good as the best indian restaurants while being super easy to throw together and cheap as hell. Excellent stuff.

I purchased this after reading some of the reviews that were already available. I will definitely say that I was not disappointed. The taste was excellent. Total prep time was about 30 minutes. The only minor complaint I have is that there was a small layer of grease floating at the top when cooking was done. Maybe I added too much butter. Amazing taste!

Excellent product, are you listening Whole Foods?
We got really tired of opening little cans of tomato paste, then having most of it go to waste in the fridge because a recipe calls for only a tablespoon, or something like that. Enter tomato paste in a tube. What a great idea! Now, it doesn't go bad if I need only a little at a time. I bought this online because my Whole Foods, which carries this brand, doesn't ever seem to have it in stock. I guess it's just that popular. So, I ordered it online. Also ordered the red pepper paste. Yum.

Great product
Double concentrated tomato paste is great addition to cooking. Highly recommended for pasta sauces, stews, soups or just plain on the sandwiches.

Still has BPAs
I bought this because of the dire reports about how unsafe canned tomato products are - something called BPA on the can interiors is leached into the tomatoes because of their high acidity. After I saw that the tubes were metal I emailed Amore to ask about BPA. I give them much credit for repsonding but it turns out these tubes also have BPA so they are no safer than the cans. I will say this tomato paste tastes better (but not WAY better) than what I get in cans but I don't think it's worth the extra cost. I get three small cans for a buck at Dollar General and theirs has no added salt which to me makes the DG brand a smarter choice. If the Amore was organic then I'd say it was worth the cost but it isn't.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!
Love this tomato paste. It is sooo convenient to use and prevents alot of waste. The taste is outstanding compared to other brands of paste that I have used. SO glad that I found this product online as I have looked all over in the grocery stores around here with no luck. Thank you for such a great product!

These tomato paste tubes are great. You only use as much as you need, then cap the tube and put the rest in the refrigerator. These are so much nicer than cans of tomato paste.

Simply The Best!
I live in the USA and I love the original HP sauce from England. I had found an American version of it a long time ago at a local grocery store but, it was nothing like the original. I put this stuff on steaks, burgers, potatoes, stews, perogies, cabbage etc...My wife thinks I'm nuts but, I prefer this over ketchup or any other sauce any day.
Received order very quick and it had lots of bubble wrap. No damage whatsoever. My relatives from Ireland use to always brings a few of the very big bottles over when they visited but, now I can have HP anytime I want thru Amazon.

Like the women in my life - FRUITY
If you are a Brit, you know this sauce is the best to put on 'Bacon Sarnies' 'Dog Rolls' and of course the good old 'Full English Breakfast'. Apparently HP Foods, Birmingham are now making 'Hot' varieties.

A taste of home!
There are certain things that must have HP. A bacon butty, sausage & mash the list goes on...Not sure we could live here without it! Add to that Amazon's fantastic subscribe service and the fact they replaced my order because it was damaged why shop anywhere else?

I guess it still tastes the same, but it's kind of sad they moved operations to Holland. I miss real British products, e.g., Doc Martens, the Mini, and now HP sauce. I will continue to use under protest.

Not Just A Soup
I have used this soup mix almost 20 years. It is my secret ingredient for my greens (Collards). People who have eaten my greens say they have never had greens so good. The "Secret" is out. I also use it for a personal recipe, Cabbage Stew. It goes well in gravies, over roasts, and even in BBQ sauce. It is a very nice flavor for anything you want to add it to -- even spaghetti. This is as common an item in my cabinets, as a box of salt. If you have not tried it, you do not know what you are missing.
When the only store in my city was discontiuning this item, I bought the last 13 boxes. That was over 7 years ago. I buy a case of this (10 boxes) every three months. Now that the holiday season is upon us, I have bought 3 cases, yes 30 individual boxes. The first time I bought this item, I made the recipe that was on the box -- savory herb and garlic potatoes. I have been hooked ever since.

Finally Found It
I love cooking with "Savory Herb with Garlic," but for some reason my grocery store quit carrying it and I've never been able to find it anywhere else. I was so glad to find it on Amazon. Now I don't have to go from store to store looking for it, it's delivered to my front door. I use this in a lot of dishes, but where it really shines is in our "roasted potato, carrot and onion" dish. It's also excellent with wild rice pilaf or any kind of rice. Thank you Amazon!

Great taste
It is very hard finding this item in the stores. I use it on meats,dips and even gravy. It has a great blend of garlic and herbs. I even gave my daughter some of the boxes, now she is hooked

Best seasoning for almost anything
I Love it, but the store I shop at stop selling it, and I am not happy about it cause they are the only ones that carry it. But it is some good stuff. I just wish I could buy it when I need it. But it has good flavor and taste.

Incredible Dales!
Dales is a staple in the South. I live in the Northern Midwest and was floored by the flavor of this secret sauce. A little like Soy Sauce but better flavor. This is a terriffic marinade, flavor enhancer etc. Lots of recipes available on the web for use in all kinds of ways. I was gifted a bottle and bought a case. It's that good, really.

Good, but not exactly subtle
I just had my first experience with Dale's. As far as I can tell, it's basically soy sauce with extra salt and MSG, plus some other spices.
It tastes good--there's no denying that. But salt and MSG will make just about anything taste good (as any basic, cheap Chinese restaurant knows) so I'm hesitant to give this more than 4 stars. There's a certain level of creativity missing here, I guess. The seasoning relies on just a couple of culinary "sledgehammers" (salt and MSG) to get the job done rather than investing more heavily in a creative spice blend.

A versatile seasoning that has become a regular in our pantry.
Like most people, the first time I tasted Dale's it was the marinade for a steak - heaven! My mother bought me my first bottle and now I can't live without it. It is extremely versatile and can be added to just about any beef recipe with great effect. Pot roasts, meat loaf, meat balls, hamburgers... you get the idea! You won't want to use a lot of it all the time, other wise everything you make will taste the same - but it does compliment other spices and flavors very well so a few well placed drops can really make the difference in soups, chili, casseroles - just about anywhere you use beef. (Push the envelope and try a few drops in some of your fish, pork and chicken recipes - you'll be happy you did!)
