Great Stuff!
Just wanted to quickly give my opinion...
Zico is the coconut water you want! Vita-Coco is good, but the flavor of Zico is much better. Vita-Coco can be a tad sour compared to Zico.
I had never heard of Zico before, but tried it based on other reviews. I ordered 2 cases in order to receive free shipping. This stuff is great and this is what I will be ordering from now on!
Rating :

Good product however...
I found that Zico had a strange after taste. It is hard to describe almost a metallic tang. I do not know what it could be since the box states that it is pure coconut water. This taste is not in Vita Coco's product, I have not tried O.N.E as yet so I cannot say if it has an after taste.

not the best i've had, but great for a quick fix
Let me preface this by saying, I am a coconut water connoisseur. seriously, coconut water is like crack to me. if we go anywhere even remotely tropical, it's the first thing i seek out. my all time best water ever would have to be at a small fruit stand about 2-3 miles away from the Coconut Marketplace in Kauai.

that being said, zico is just ok. i definitely had higher hopes. i would have hoped for a somewhat sweeter water. instead, it was a bit bland. granted, it's impossible to know exactly what you'll get. i wonder if the taste varies from batch to batch. however, it is still refreshing and packs a lot more nutrients than plain old water. and, i would prefer it over gatorade any day of the week. it's excellent for a quick coconut water fix, but i'm still on the hunt for that sweet, sweet water like the one I had in Kauai.

ZICO is the best for re-hydrating
I've always bought Gatorade & G2 to help re-hydrate but neither of them have near the amount of potassium and electrolytes that ZICO does. ZICO is a natural way to re-hydrate the body without the sugar/calories. The original ZICO has a great taste and makes you feel like you're in the tropics. I give ZICO an A+!!

Buy the real thing!
It's simple. If you want the REAL taste buy a young thai coconut for $1.50-$2.00. Not only will you get about 16 ozs of fresh coconut water but you will also get the meat!! Nice try but once you do fresh you'll never go back.

I don't know how some of you stand this stuff...
I got a case of Vita Coco - all different flavors. I don't drink soda and with all of the good reviews, I was hoping I could finally find a healthy drink that I wouldn't get sick of right away. The first one I tried was the pure 100% coconut water and it was horrid. I gagged as soon as the smell reached my nose, I could barely even swallow it. I figured maybe it'd be better if I tried a flavored one, so I opened up a Pineapple one and I couldn't force myself to drink that one, either. I had my boyfriend try them and he immediately said they were disgusting, as well. I gave 2 of the flavors to our neighbors, in hopes of finding someone that would like them, but they said don't bother giving them the other 8. I have no clue who could even stand to drink these..

Good Value, Good Taste
This is an economical way to buy this juice. It works out to around $1.75 per tetra pack (before shipping) as opposed to the $2.50 I have to pay at a bodega. It is eligible for the Amazon free shipping for purchases over $25 so combine with another purchase to save. I like the taste, and that the ingredients are all natural. The only thing I would change is that I wish it came with a straw attached.

Vita Coco
This is a great drink after running, walking or exercising. It not only is thirst quenching, but puts electrolytes back into your body. It gives me more energy and tastes fresh. A friend introduced me to coconut water a few months ago and I have been drinking it ever since. I prefer this brand over the others. I think it is best ice cold!

The Switch is a great tasting healthy alternative to soda. The Switch is 100% juice that is carbonated and contains 100% of DV of Vitamin C. It has no sugar added and contains nothing artificial. Its just juice, bubbles and Vitamin C. You'll love The Switch because it has the bold taste and nutritional value of a fortified juice, with the carbonated refreshment of a soda. The Switch is 100% of what you want in a soda, and 0% of what you don't

Customer Reviews :
Would Not Switch
This had a nice citrus flavor, but it was too sweet and actually flat. I did not get any kind of fizz or sparkle. For the amount of sugar and calories, I rather would have eaten a piece of fruit and drank a glass of seltzer water - less calories and more satisfying in my mouth. I got this on GB special for about $13.52 for the case. I don't think I will purchase again.
Rating :

36g of sugar still there!
If you think this is going to be a healthy product, you are sadly mistaken. It still contains 36g of sugar per can! If you want to end up a fat diabetic, by all means, try it. Otherwise, try the ZERO CALORIE, ZERO SUGAR, ZERO CHEMICAL naturally fruit flavored seltzers like those by La Croix.
Rating :

What the description doesn't say.
The inscription on the can proclaims: "100% of What You Want. 100% Juice. 100% Vitamin C. 100% All Natural."

All true, and it's a tasty, reasonably-priced product. But what the description leaves out is the information (on the can) that the drink contains 120 calories stemming from 29 grams of sugar. Granted, it's fruit sugar (fructose), and for some consumers that may make it healthier or more acceptable than sucrose or dextrose, but most of the research I've seen suggests that, as far as the bottom line is concerned, they're all pretty much the same--empty calories, or simple, rather than complex, carbohydrates.

Still, 120 calories is 30 calories less than a can of Coke (but only 10 calories less than my preferred brand of ginger ale), and presumably there's a bit more nutrition in those 120 calories than in that 150-calorie can of Coke (actually, Coke is at the low end of popular soft drinks when it comes to calories. If you examine the labels of many, you'll see numerous cans listing 170 or more calories--give Warren Buffett at least a little bit of credit for having the good judgment to favor Coca Cola over other soft drinks.)

If you decide to switch to "Switch," most likely you're moving away from another "high end" sparkling fruit drink, like Izze. Izze is more expensive, and ironically you're getting less for your money--less calories and sugars, that is. The same-sized can of Izze has 90 calories and 18 grams of sugar, but obviously many health-conscious consumers are willing, in this case, to pay more for less.

If you're allergic to fructose, have a weight problem, or are contending with high triglycerides (which some cardiologists condemn as readily as high LDL counts and low HDL counts), you would probably do well to limit your consumption of either beverage, bearing in mind that the average orange (yes, that round soft object that grows on trees and requires removal of the outer, leathery skin) has only 9 grams of sugar, about 1/3 the amount in a can of Switch Orange Tangerine. (I suspect some of us would be more inclined to subscribe to the product if the company "diluted" its drink with more carbonated water.)

Never received the product
Sadly, I was supposed to receive this product, but never did. I imagine it's good given the others I've tried, but alas, that won't happen. Still, I have to write a review, so there you go.

Way, way, WAY too sweet - 29g of suger in a 8.3 oz can, soda doesn't have this much sugar!
Ouch, this stuff is sweet, as in REALLY sweet... This is really harsh tasting and we were disappointed. Most soda doesn't have this much sugar, the 8.3 oz can has 29 grams of sugar, yikes! For a 12 oz can of soda, that would be like having 45 grams of sugar, who would drink that?

They need to water this WAY down, we're going to end up giving the rest of this away, we can't drink it.

BLACK CHERRY NATURAL SODA
I was not impressed with this product enough to become a regular buyer. I did enjoy black cherry soda as a child of the 50's when the soda man would come around but this did not measure up to that standard. It was "okay" and if I was offered it as a guest in someone's home I would not refuse it.

SAFETY WARNING - EXPIRED PRODUCT
WARNING: AMAZON IS SELLING A 100% JUICE PRODUCT THAT EXPIRED MORE THAN 7 MONTHS AGO. Just received five separate orders (4 differnt flavors) of this Switch product and was shocked to find that all had EXPIRED. This flavor expired on January 11, 2010, others as far back as August '09. Unfortunately, I didn't check before I took a sip and discovered it tasted like beer, it was that fermented. This is 100% juice product and Amazon should have tighter quality control.

LOVED IT!!!

carbonated juice
Hmm, at first, I thought this was another one of those beverages competing with Red Bull. However, as soon as I had my first sip, I knew I was in for something healthier.

Hmmm...healthy vs. energy boost? That is the question of the day.

The Switch contains 100% fruit juice and none of the other stuff. It's just carbonated juice.

However, I didn't really quite catch that 'black cherry' flavor. It tasted more like apple juice than anything else. Nonetheless, it was still good!

Question : what's the difference between these alcoholic beverages?
what's the difference between vodka, liquor, beer, rum, gin, wine, and malt beverages? i know that drinks like smirnoff and bacardi are carbonated and on the front of the bottle it says malt beverage, but on the back it says flavored beer. ALSO, when you go to places like Chilis and you get a margarita, what is the alcohol that they put in there? thanks in advance!
Answer:
Vodka is distilled from grain or potatoes. It is highly distilled for purity. Liquor is not specific. It refers to a variety of distilled beverages most of which are made from grain. Scotch, vodka, rum, rye and gin are all liquor. Beer is fermented barley. Fermented beverages are lower proof (alcohol content) than distilled beverages. Rum is distilled from sugarcane. Gin is distilled grain flavored with herbs. a variety of herbs can be used. Wine is fermented grapes. Malt beverages are made similarly to beer. The term is used in marketing to distinguish malt liquor from beer which may carry a lower-class connotation than malt liquor. It can be flavored with a large variety of flavors and is usually higher proof than beer. Smirnoff and Bacardi are brand names. Smirnoff is best known as a vodka maker though they also make malt beverages. Bacardi is best known as a rum maker. The alcohol in margaritas is tequila which is distilled from agave cactus.

Question : Sparking water beverages not healthy during pregnancy?
I've heard in several places that flavored water beverages aren't very healthy they contain artificial sweeteners and other components that don't make it a healthy choice during pregnancy. Has anyone been told by a doc that it is in fact ok/healthy to consume these beverages during pregnancy??I have a VERY hard time drinking water alone.Sorry about the run-on-sentence, was a type-o.
Answer:
I would avoid the artificial sweeteners but there are many that don't have that so just check the labels and go ahead.

Question : Is it dangerous to drink beverages from lead crystal glasses?
Can lead leach out of lead crystal glassware into beverages? I use them daily for all types of beverages. Should this be avoided?
Answer:
Be cautious if you drink out of lead crystal glassware used for beverages.Crystal contains large amounts of heavy metal. Crystalline glass can contain lead, zinc, barium, or potassium oxide. Lead crystal is 24 percent or more lead oxide, while full lead crystal contains 30 percent or more. The lead (or barium or zinc) can leach out of the crystal into the beverage inside and the amount of lead in the beverage will increase as long as the beverage sits in the crystal. This leaching is increased if the beverage is acidic like soda or orange juice. Here are a few suggestions to minimize lead exposure:* Pre-soak crystal glasses with a room temperature solution of 50 percent vinegar or lemon juice and 50 percent water for 24 hours. Empty out the glass, rinse it with warm water, and hand wash it with mild detergent and warm water before serving your food or drinks.* Don't store liquid in crystal decanters for any length of time. Pre-clean the decanter as above and then fill the decanter just before using it to serve the beverage. Remove the liquid from the decanter as soon as possible.* Don't serve hot liquids in crystal, as heat will increase lead leaching in the beverage.* Don't drink from lead crystal if you are pregnant and don't serve drinks to young children in crystal, as lead is particularly dangerous to both babies and children.

Question : What kinds of alcoholic beverages can a Catholic priest drink?
I am well aware that there is no problem what-so-ever with a Catholic priest drinking wine for his own enjoyment, but how about other kinds of alcoholic beverages such as gin, brandy, whiskey, rum, etc? Does the Roman Catholic Church have any sanctions concerning certain kinds of liquors?Thank you.
Answer:
deardogm is correct - there is no general prohibition on the type of liquor Roman Catholic priests may drink.True history: German monks were "rationed" (if I remember correctly) 1/4 barrel of beer per day. A certain abbot, concerned with the unseemly degree of levity that beer engendered in the monks in his care, sent a barrel of beer to Rome and a letter explaining his concern and asking the Vatican officials for an evaluation. The worthies of Rome, wine drinkers, found the stuff extremely unpleasant. They returned a letter congratulating the abbot on the devoutness of monks willing to drink the (to them) vile stuff. The beer-loathing Romans concluded that drinking beer was an act of religious self-repudiation, like wearing a hair shirt or other self-inflicted torture!(I sure wish I could remember my source for that excellent snippet!)Jim, http://www.bible-reviews.com

Question : Why do alcoholic beverages not have to list their ingredients?
I am severely allergic to nuts and I know some alcohol is made from nuts.WHAT TO DO?!?Why do alcoholic beverages not have to list their ingredients?
Answer:
Rules governing alcoholic-beverage labeling suffer from jurisdictional gaps between the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Treasury Department’s Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB, formerly the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms). Here's the article: http://www.cspinet.org/new/200312161.html

Question : Why is cocaine illegal when acoholic beverages are worst?
Many people die from drunk driving, lung failure, and other effect of acoholic beverages. And I think acoholic beverages are much worst than cocaine. Why is it that cocaine are banned while acoholic beverages are legal.
Answer:
Cocaine is a lot more powerful and euphoric which makes it much more addictive. People do not generally have a few snorts of cocaine and go home, or spend a few hours getting high and stop. The addiction is so powerful, people will spend all their money and keep using it (day and night). It will take over your life in a hurry. It will ruin you financially, affect your mind, emotions, and sanity. It is not a drug that should ever be legalized. You can make an argument for weed, that's fine but no way cocaine. I have been on it for a few periods of my life and all I can say is it got the best of me every time. Financially is the worse because of the cost, and the obsession to keep using. I have drank for several years and that never really got me anything like coke did. There is no comparison!

Question : What beverages do you drink on a daily basis?
What beverages do you drink on a daily basis? What term do you use for soft drinks? Which one is your favorite? Do you like mineral water?
Answer:
I drink coffee in the morning, and water at work where it is hot. I say Pop for soft drinks I like Pepsi and I never tried mineral water but I should think about it?? Did you?

Question : Does drinking cold beverages in the summer really cool you off, or is it a myth?
I think it is a myth because when I drink cold beverages in the summer, I dont feel any cooler. In fact, I think I sweat harder sometimes when I do drink cold liquids.
Answer:
i don't think it cools you off, but i do know it burns calories. your body has to get the liquid to your body temp as quick as possible this takes energy to heat the liquid up. inturn burnning calories!
