THE ULTIMATE BEST GF MIX!!!
I've tried many different gluten-free mixes over the years, but this is the absolute best ever! Makes the best pancakes (even my husband likes them better than other store-bought mixes). Mix is light & fluffy similar to wheat pancakes! Still trying to make a good bread but makes a great pumpkin bread (probably banana too). My house wouldn't be w/o this mix. Thanks to Amazon for offering a great price to make it affordable.

AWESOME
Oh My Goodness: I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue Disease in January, 2010. Every mix I'd tried was GRAINY, did not bake like it was supposed to and even with the addition of other ingredients, were not good products. My husband made some Chocolate Chip cookies using this baking mix, cup for cup and they were delicious, no grainy taste, couldn't even tell there was a difference. Very good and highly recommend purchasing if you're in the market for GF/WF. Thank you Pamela!

Love it
Of all the gluten free pancake mixes i've tried, this one is the best. The mix has a nice consistency and even though I can eat gluten, I choose to have these pancakes along with my children who cannot have wheat.

Always an A++++++++++++
I have Celiacs and I think other celiacs can agree with me when I say that we have figured good tasting food just isn't going to be apart of our diets. Well not with this mix and all of Pamela products. Let me tell you she knows what shes doing. I make peanut butter cookies that some people say taste BETTER then the wheat version (and I use flax oil butter and organic peanut butter as well as 1/2 white sugar1/2 stevia and its actually healthy!). I make pancakes that are so good I cant believe my taste buds. I love to make PB&J sandwiches with the thick pancakes and it is the best. So me and my Celiac sis swear by all Pamelas products. You should definitely try the bread mix you will be amazed. One other thing I think Pamelas products save on not having to make commercial because word of mouth is doing just fine.

Low-Glycemic Sweetener
Wholesome Organic Raw Blue Agave is the best product of its kind. I tried other brands and even what was available in bulk at a local "health-food" grocery store in my area which had discontinued carrying this product for some reason. Others must also like it, because it's now back on that store's shelves.

I especially like to use it in gluten-free baking; it adds moisture and a soft, smooth sweetness that is lacking in commercial gluten-free products.

Yes, it's expensive compared to other brands, but the best value is via Amazon subscription.

Great Sweetner
I got this same Blue Agave sweetener at Costco today and tried it on some frozen waffles and its good. I was a little skeptical at first when I saw the product 6 months ago but now that I've tried it, I will definitely make a switch. It doesn't have that weird after taste as artificial sweetener.

Wholesome Sweetners Organic Raw Blue Agave
Of all the agave brands I have tried, Wholesome Sweetners Raw Blue Agave is my favorite. It has a very consistant flavor which is not too strong and not too sweet. My five year old son is a very picky eater, and he loves this product. We use this on pancakes because he has a sugar issue. Everytime I have used another brand of agave, he can tell and won't eat it. This product is a GREAT deal packaged as two 44 oz. bottles. If you are using agave for the first time or 50 time, I could not recommend a better brand.

Agave
I use this brand of Agave all of the time. It's always fresh and good tasting. The price is an exceptionally good bargain.

Never go back to regular honey again!
This honey is wonderful for regular uses, it's thickness and wonderful flavor make things like simple toast and teas better! But this stuff works wonders when I feel cold/flu symptoms come on! I take a spoonful everyday for 3-4 days and have avoided getting sick this season. It also works wonders on cold sores. I am prone to cold sores when I get sick, and medications such as Abreva have done nothing for me. A little dab of honey on the tingling area overnight zaps any chance of a cold sore appearing. This is a wonderful product, I ordered a dozen jars when it was $22 and gave some to my mother who is also always on the lookout for natural remedies. I can't say enough about this stuff...

Amazing honey, nothing like it
I ordered this honey to use externally for skin issues and healing masks. I was worried that it would not arrive intact as many reviewers said the honey spilled everywhere in the packing box. I had ordered 1 and it was shipped to Miami and then Costa Rica where I live, and it made it fully intact with no leakage. It has a twist off seal and a plastic seal inside and was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap. It looks just like the photo, showing the seal and I am quite happy it made it all this way.

It has a very intense flavour, much richer than any other honey I've ever tasted. I will still use it mainly for my skin but my fiance enjoyed putting some in his tea tonight. It's also cheaper on Amazon than on the manufacturer website so that's a plus also. :)

Awesome for allergies
I have had numerous allergies ( seasonal, and environmental )for years. I have been on three different medications, year round, at the same time for these allergies. Now, I take 1/2 teaspoon of honey in the am and half teaspoon at night and I don't need any of my allergy medication. ( Zyrtec, Nasonex and Mucinex) During the fall pollen/mold time, I might need my Zyrtec and Nasonex for a few weeks, but then I can stop. It is excellent honey and worth the money. It also quickly cured my son's cold sores.

Medicinal Taste
i essentially wanted honey as a sugar substitute for Tea, this honey has a medicinal taste and alters the flavor of tea. if you are looking for a healthier sugar substitute in honey get the white gold honey instead.
Rating :

Tastes great, real thick
It's so hard to know if a product has all of the nutritional value that its purveyors purport. Price-wise, this was a much better deal than buying it at Whole Foods. It came wrapped well, and delivery was good. It has a thick, paste-like consistency and a very strong, sweet taste. There is something about it that suggests it is "honey with a whollop." The seller also suggests that Manuka honey is good for easing acid reflux, which I have. That's another good reason to buy it. But again, I don't know of any empirical studies to support the claim that it eases acid reflux. All in all, this honey simply tastes very good. If you just want honey that is natural and tastes good and medicinal qualities are not important to you, there are no doubt less-expensive choices around. But....you can't go wrong with this stuff.

Grew up next to the farm
Love this syrup. As a born and breed Vermonter nothing is better than pure syrup! Now that I live in Florida I have it shipped to me here. LO-O-V-E it!!!
Rating :

A flavor revelation!
I'd never had "grade B" maple syrup until I tried this stuff. I will NEVER buy the grade A syrup offered in stores ever again. I've heard of grade A described as the "champagne" of maple syrups, and the grade B as the "red wine". I guess I'm a red wine kind of gal. The maple flavor of this syrup is extraordinary, and addicting. I've already gone through one 16oz jug and have yet to try it on pancakes or waffles! I've been using it in my tea and coffee as a sweetener, and a couple of times on ice cream. My housemates mixed some with mustard and glazed a salmon fillet for dinner the other night-it was delicious. It isn't really that much more expensive than other real maple syrups, and I feel the better flavor makes this a great value. I wish I'd discovered this maple syrup a long time ago!
Rating :

AWESOME
The taste is like no other. I dare you to find anything close to the taste.
Rating :

Love it! Will never buy Grade A again!
Do yourself a favor and taste this out of the bottle first. It has a lot more maple and caramel flavors, without being sickeningly sweet, than any of the A grades. It's actually a shame you have to put this on pancakes, all that does is dilute the flavor. Now, for glazed pecans...!

Bottom line: if you love maple, try this.
Rating :

Maple syrup and plastic don't mix
There is no way I will ever buy Maple Syrup in a Plastic
or other bottle where you cannot see the contents.

Maple Syrup can spoil and if you have a clear container
you will be able to see the mold and avoid consuming
the spoiled goods.

I bought this for my cousin. We have tried various products, but nothing compares of Pamelas. It's the closest to regular bread that we have found. Great product.

Pamela's Products Rock!
I make 3 to 4 loaves of bread each week. Pamela's Wheat Free Gluten Free Bread mix makes it soo much easier. I have never had a loaf made from Pamela's bomb. The bread is very delicious and does not need to be warmed or toasted.

Tainted Product?
I've been using Pamela's products with great success, ordering a case of the bread mix from the Amazon online Pamela's Products Wheat-Free & Gluten-Free Bread Mix, 19-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) grocery every month. But in November, the bread started to have a very strange chemical after taste and also gave both my husband and myself serious digestive upset. I made a few more loaves to see if it was just one bag of the mix, but no, it seems to be a recurring problem. We also purchased a bag of Pamela's GF white cake mix from the grocery store recently and it had the same noxious taste and smell. What's up? I have three cases of the bread mix that I plan to return to Amazon for a refund.
Rating :

Delicious bread
Pamela's gluten-free bread is THE best! It is miles ahead of other gluten-free brands. The bread is delicious and moist. We use a bread maker and add in raisins or cranberries to enhance the enjoyablity of the bread. It is also excellent toasted.

Questions & Answers
Question : Why the hell do grocery store put those stupid displays in the middle of the aisles?
It's so difficult to maneuver a full cart when the grocery store is busy anyway and then they go and keep adding these silly cardboard displays with items on it throughout the aisles. Usually someone manages to knock one over whenever I'm there. Is it supposed to annoy us so much that we'll feel compelled to purchase the items on it?Whoever thought of this marketing tactic is a moron!Ok, I'm finishing ranting about something completely unimportant in our lives. Thanks.
Answer:
Believe it or not, they're actually called 'trippers'. They put them there specifically to slow you down, so you'll take more notice of things on the shelves, as well as the products on the display itself. They don't WANT us racing through the store, just buying what we need and then getting out. They want us to slow down, the slower we go, the more we buy. Or so the marketers say.

Question : Why does grocery store mozzarella always suck as compared to to what you get at a resturaunt?
How come the grocery store mozzarella melts like water and is sometimes even transparent? It has very little gooey-ness or salty, chewy texture as compared to what you get at the resturaunt.I'm not talking about processed slices either, i'm talking about mozzerella you buy in the blocks. Comparing that with most resturuants are almost like two different cheeses. What up with that?
Answer:
They are just a different quality. The block cheeses are your every-day, "the kids want a bagel-pizza" cheeses. They are processed oils that are made to taste like the real thing. If you want a good quality cheese, then you should look by the deli in your grocery store. If it's a decent store, you should be able to find a specialty cheese section which will have good-quality mozzarella, usually in a tub that's filled with oil or water to keep it fresh. A good quality mozzarella will run you at least twice what that cheap block kind will, probably more. But it's worth it.

Question : What grocery stores pay for your college?
Meaning that you work at the grocery store and you make at least a C in all your classes, the grocery store pays for everything. I know Publix does this. What other grocery stores do it?
Answer:
Meaning that you work at the grocery store and you make at least a C in all your classes, the grocery store pays for everything. I know Publix does this. What other grocery stores do it?

Question : How do you cut your grocery bill significantly?
I would like to know the "frugal" way to grocery shopping. Which supermarkets in the southeast (preferably Florida) is the most economical? Is purchasing the Sunday edition ($1.00 for the Tampa Tribune, for instance) for the coupons really worth it? Share all your cost effective tips with me, please. I shop at Publix for all my needs, and it can get quite expensive despite I absolutely adore the service I get. Sometimes I buy groceries for people who are economically disadvantaged, and buying these families groceries in addition to mine is getting very expensive. I am not complaining since I want to continue to help them but at the same token I want to know how to save lots of money with groceries and other items of necessity. Thank you in advance as I appreciate all the advice I can get on this matter.
Answer:
Coupons can help, if you buy name-brand items. If you stick to generics, or fresh produce and meats, you're not going to do as well with them. What I do is, I have list paper with columns for store name, item, price, and coupons. On Wednesday, when our grocery ads come in the mail, I lay them all out on the table. I pick out the 5-10 items from each ad that we'll actually use and eat, that are a screaming deal, and I write them down on my paper. If I have a coupon also, I note that in the coupon column. Then, I break out my personal organizer. While consulting my great little list of killer cheap prices, I make out a menu of foods using mostly those ingredients, and some other things I have, or that are reasonably priced. Sometimes I add more expensive meals when there's not much good stuff on sale, or when I'm just sick of eating whatever's been on sale lately. Now, here's the best part of the whole process. I pack up my handy dandy price list, ads, and menu, and take the whole mess to Walmart, where they price-match for me. One store, everybody's deals. Find out if your preferred store does price-matching, and if they don't, pick up a comment form and notify their corporate offices that it's an important service. And since you're in the habit of picking up food for the less fortunate, especially mind your sale ads, and stock up lots on things that are easy to store. My mama propped up her bed with those feet you can get at Linens & Things or wherever, and got some under-bed storage bins, and she just buys up canned foods by the 24-pack when they go on sale, like the sales where canned veggies hit a dime a can near Thanksgiving. Then, when she comes upon a situation where others need help, she grabs things from under there, along with fresh purchases. But my best trick is, buy a freezer. When strawberries dropped under 75 cents a pound, I bought 30 pounds. Sliced them up, froze them on a cookie sheet, bagged them while they were frozen. Same with any other fruit that comes on a great sale. My kids eat frozen fruits now, instead of frozen sugar for desserts. Healthier, and way cheaper... and they actually like it better.

Question : What are the cheapest grocery stores in southern California?
My parents are spending a lot of money lately, because of high gas prices and grocery prices. Also, I just got my braces so , that doesn't help.Help me! I don't want to be on a tight budget thanks to the worse president America has ever had. Please don't answer vons, ralphs, or albertsons! I am trying to help my mom out in the grocery shopping!
Answer:
I used to live in So California, and the cheapest grocery store I found was Stater Bros. They also had Lucky's but I do not know if they still exist. Try Stater Bros.

Question : How do I grocery shop after the snow melts?
For the past month, I have wanted to go grocery shopping. The weather is the greatest reason that I can't go. So, how do I grocery shop when I have gone so long without my chocolate, popcorn, and snacks? I am getting tired of nutritious foods. Do I wear blind folds and nose plugs when shopping?
Answer:
go shopping after eating a huge meal so that you'll be soooo full and bloated that you wont want to by any junk foods while shopping this coming week. good luck

Question : What area of a grocery store can I find wonton wrappers?
I've gone to several grocery stores and people that work there have no idea where they are but they are a common thing to make raviolis. Where can I find them?
Answer:
They are usually in the produce department. Don't buy frozen, they aren't as good.

Question : What grocery stores or small businesses can a 14 year old apply at?
I've already submitted applications for Publix and Kroger, but I'd much rather work at a smaller grocery store/business.Could somebody give me a quick list of stores/businesses I could apply at, please? Also, can anyone confirm if Blockbuster would be able to hire at 14?Btw, I refuse to work at fast food restaurants, so none of those please.Thank you. :)
Answer:
It depends on where you live. If you live in an area with a lot of Mom and Pop shops, I'd start there. It also depends on what your state child labor laws have to say. Some states won't allow teens to work a job until they are 15, but some it's 14. I wouldn't even consider fast food for you unless you want to know what it's like to break your back for almost no money. Check with some of the boutiques in your town that aren't corporately owned and something will turn up for you. Just don't let it get in the way of your studies.Good luck with the job hunt!

Question : What grocery stores will allow student film shoots within the store?
I have a college film shoot this weekend, and there is a scene inside of a grocery store. What grocery stores will allow student film makers to shoot a short film in their store. The shoot is located in Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona.
Answer:
look for a store that's more local/family owned.and ask the manager if you can make a movie, just as long as your not gonna make a big mess he will most likely say yes.

Question : Compared to regular grocery stores, what are the prices like at places like Whole foods market?
I want to start feeding my family better food but with the gas prices lately I am unsure about exactly how much more I can spend weekly on groceries. A new Whole Foods Market just opened in our neighborhood but I have never been. Wondering how the prices stack up against regular grocery stores? I know it will be more, you get what you pay for, but am wondering how MUCH more? Anyone know?I don't think we have a Trader Joe's here. What are they?
Answer:
Whole Foods and Trader Joe's tend to cater to the really busy folks who have more $$ than time with a lot of foods that are already prepared or can be put together quickly. You pay a premium for the convenience. I'd say buy your bulk items and dry goods at a lower end store. Beans, flour, butter, oil & cleaning supplies. Try to hit the Farmer's market once a week for fresh fruits & veggies. Use Whole Foods $$$ as a substitute for buying take- out like pizza or ending up at the window of a fast food place. I wouldn't do my main shopping there. All in all I'd say you'd probably be paying 10 to 15 % more at Whole Foods or a Wild Oats..........
